The Bad Brains mountain biking club has a great tag line of 'Ride Bikes, Drink Beer, Eat Cakes'. This club has the right balance, as you tend to find with mountain bikers. An active forum for Thursday night rides and local trips. The forum is the hub of the activity of the Leeds mountain biking club. Founded in 1992. Bad Brains has it's own store of cycling jerseys, beanies and t-shirts. Unfortunately at the time of writing their gallery was down. Riding is varied from Novice to Expet and takes in many styles of mountain biking.

Rides are local as well as some trail centres, including Llandegla, Glentress, Keswick, Castleton, Ladybower, Oxspring, Apperley Bridge, Ogden and New Millers Dam.
