- why we’re blogging -
Mountain biking is seasonal over here in Austria. The season is relatively short, which has both its ups and downs. After a frantic winter season, the quieter pace of the spring, summer and autumn is a pleasant change. We have loads of news and bite sized chunks of information that we want to share with people. It helps us to say
‘hey, we are here, we haven’t gone to sleep or got lost on the slopes!”
As I’m sure is the aim of everybody that starts out blogging, they plan loads of blogs and then life in general – as it does – gets in the way. I’ve seen (and written) blogs that started off once a day, then slipped to every couple of days, to finally become a once a month token gesture. Lets see how this all pans out though,
I’d ask if you could help us along the way – provide comments whenever you want. Even if we don’t ask direct questions,
please give us your opinions, a bit of healthy banter is always good at keeping your feet on the ground
Manu is going to add a load of posts as well, over time. Her English might not be 100% grammatically perfect, but its great for a second language and sometimes puts my own grammar to shame. With such a large family network over here, there isn’t a thing that is missed in the surrounding villages. I’ll explain more about this later – it deserves its own post.
Finally, don’t be confused if you see the blog expanding in both directions, we have many diary entries from yonks back that might as well have a home here as well. Let us know, if the site is easy to navigate, if there is anything else that you’d like to see here (other than more posts!!). Even if it is an older post still drop us a comment, it won’t get missed.
