Olympic fever is starting to bubble up. Time to get square eyes again. The photo above was taken during the Euro 2008 in Innsbruck, Austria. Think it’ll be while before Austria will be hosting a summer Olympics, the football was fantastic though (a little rain perhaps but great fun!).
- So it isn’t just the Tour de France or the Olympic athletes, it appears that Olympic mountain bikers are getting mixed up in banned substances as well. This time it is a Danish mountain biker, hopefully this incident won’t become increasingly common.
- Good luck to Englands own Liam Killeen. He says, in his interview, that his training has gone extremely well and he can’t wait for the Olympics. Personally I’m really looking forward to the Olympics. Let’s hope the Austrian coverage is good!
- I like the idea of the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame. A small part of me is a little suspicious that this site won’t be getting across the pond for a while. That said, it’s interesting and if you spend a little time, the profiles of the ‘Inductees’ makes for fascinating reading.
- Swiss army have produced a Mountain Biking Knife. I’m sure its going to be tough and functional but will it really live up to the mark in this over crowded market. We’ll have to wait for the reviews to filter their way on to the Internet before I’ll be parting with my money.
