More news to keep you entertained, some mountain bike links that you might not have spotted and others that have done the rounds but are just too much fun to leave out!
- Follow the Commonwealth silver medallist mountain biker, Oli Beckingsale’s blog on the BBC website. An interesting and well written blog that will give you an insight into the lives of Olympic athletes.
- A standard write up of another downhill event. Shame the South African pushed out all the British riders to take the gold! What is great is the footage from a practice run that was done before the event. This is common with skiers and golf flybys but it was great seeing it for mountain biking as well.
- A superb idea for taking your children out with you on the trails. Basically, this inventive person couldn’t find a product that suited his and his families needs so designed and created ‘Little Ones Come Too’. We might just have to save up some pennies to give this a go.
- I’m proud to be British, knowing all the great sports that we’ve invented. Here is another example of the British and mountain biking at its best!
