- it wasn't fast and I was pretty out of shape but I made to the top in 1hr20ish from Ellmau to the top of Hartkaiser
- cocktails knocked back – surprisingly pleased with borbon. cointreau, lemon juice and lemonade. Far too easy to drink. Next up a fondue!!
- Mother-in-law's just come round and blessed the chalet, by filling it with smoke, I could try to explain by 140 char just won't cut it!

- great couple of hours skiing by myself this morning – been quiet on twitter for a while as I've been doing really mundane stuff
- spent some of the morning placing half a pine tree's branches on the balconies as decoration, obviously Manu's idea not mine – nice though!

- after a season mountain biking it is amazing how different muscles are aching after just a couple of hours skiing (lower back muscles & abs)

- getting cold at the weekend, temp (with windchill) at the mountain tops -24 °C with 46cm of snow due!

- it's snowing in the valley – still gets me all excited about Christmas
