- facelift for the ramblings -
Life should be simple. Well that is our philosophy away. Times can be hectic and we’ve certainly found that in the last couple of years! Moving over to Austria, setting up a new home and business. Oh and organising our wedding for 170+ people was just a little bit stressful.
When we see an opportunity to make things simple we leap at the chance. The last couple of days we wanted to give the blog a facelift. After much deliberation we chose our design (mirroring our main mountain bike holiday website. We want people to be able to enjoy, read and view our posts and photos as easily as possible. Hopefully we’ve achieved this.
We will walk you around the new blog design. Firstly, dark green for the blog and dark red for the main site. So that you know where you are at all time. The links should all work in a similar way on both sites. You can either bookmark the blog and see when changes take place in the future, or opt to receive a weekly update email or sign up to our RSS feed through the orange symbol in the address line. If all this is confusing and you’d still like to get updates contact us and we’ll happily explain everything.
Firstly, the words. The articles will be a mixture of mountain bike news, events taking place in the area and our general thoughts. If there is anything that you’d particularly like to see here then drop us an email and we’ll happily try and include it. If you are curious about a certain article the best bet would be to use the search box. Alternatively, you could just look through the categories to see if there is anything that catches your attention.
Secondly, the photos. Each post will contain at least one photo about life out here in Austria. Also, on the right hand side there will be a random ten pictures we’ve taken. Any of these photos (on all future posts) will be clickable and this will open a larger version of the photo so that you can enjoy them.
Other bits and bobs. Hopefully the events calendar will be useful or at least interesting for people. We’ll try and do our best to keep it updated with all the events and happenings taking place in our area.
