- a busy farm -

Jason 70s skiing starWe had a fantastic week with our guests recently. It was a large group that was mixture of people that have stayed with us many times and some that were taking their first skiing holiday. Also, the group was a mixture happy ladof young ones, who were trying on their skis for the first time and others that knew the skiwelt area well.

As some of you might know, getting to the slopes in the morning is military operation especially when there are seven children to organise as well. Apart from the odd mislaid glove and a couple of other items everyone was out skiing on the freshly piste bashed slopes in the morning. The conditions were top notch, cold but sunny weather (sometimes you had to break through the cloud layer first).

We managed to get out skiing with the guests a few times which was nice. Check out a load of photos on our main site. I was able some of the groupto take everyone over to Westendorf with the new connection in Brixen. The best thing for me was being able to show ‘veteran’ guests new areas that they hadn’t skied on before.

So as the week progressed the legs became a little more tired but everyone enjoyed the skiing holiday. The little lad of the family tobogganingthat were on their first skiiing holiday said ‘it was the best holiday I’ve ever been on’. It doesn’t get better than that for me! Other than the skiing, there was loads of tobogganing done, both at the farm and up in Ellmau. Next year we’ll hopefully get everyone on the 4.5km toboggan run in Ellmau.

Thanks Ann, Ian, Andy, Louise, Jason, Chris, Jenny, Adam and Julie and their entourage of children for a great week!
